VIA Apollo Pro133A PCIset with AGP solution
Y2K Approval
Processor(CPU):
Supports Intel Pentium III/ FC-PGA Celeron/ Coppermine at 66 - 155 MHz
external clock for socket 370 x 2.
*According to Intel's specification, both CPU have to be at the same
speed and of the same stepping. Although some different stepping CPU may be
used in Dual CPU system, it is highly NOT recommended. If you really want to
mix up different stepping CPU in Dual CPU system, please refer to the table
for details (Intel Dual CPU Table).
Chipset:
VIA Apollo Pro133A PCIset (694X + VT82C596B) with AGP solution.
DRAM Memory:
Supports up to 1 GB of DRAM on board, you can use 168 pins DIMM X 4.
PC133/PC150 SDRAM is recommended for 133 MHz or above external clock
Coppermine CPU.
Supports Error Checking and Correcting (ECC) when using parity DRAM
memory modules. This will detect multiple bit errors and correct 1-bit
memory errors.
Expansion Slot:
Supports 32 bit x 5 PCI Master Bus, 1 x 16 bit ISA Bus and 1 x AGP slot
(a jumperless PCI INT# control scheme which reduces configuration confusion
when plugging in PCI card/cards).
On Board PCI IDE:
Supports ATAPI (e.g. CD-ROM) devices on both Primary and Secondary IDE
interfaces.
4 independent high performance PCI IDE interfaces capable of supporting 8
PIO Mode 3/4 and Ultra ATA-66 (2 IDE interfaces even support Ultra ATA-100
devices).
On Board IDE RAID:
RAID 0: Combined 2-4 hard disks into one, offering maximum 200% hard disk
read / write speed.
RAID 1: Each data hard disk is protected by one mirroring hard disk,
offering 200% data security.
RAID 1+0: RAID 0 + RAID 1, offering maximum 200% speed and data security.
(4 hard disks required).
Up to 4 hard disks to create one array of RAID 0.
Provide (RAID 0 and RAID 1) Duplicate function.
Provide Spare Disk for Disk Mirroring.
On Board I/O:
Designed with Winbond 83977EF-AW Super I/O which supports 1 x floppy
port, 1 x parallel port (EPP, ECP) and 2 x serial ports (16550 Fast UART).
Also supports Japanese "Floppy 3 mode".
I/O Connector:
Supports PS/2 MOUSE and 1 PS/2 Style Keyboard.
USB:
Supports the Universal Serial Bus (USB) on-board. The chip provides the
means for connecting PC peripherals such as keyboards, joysticks, telephones
and modems.
BIOS:
2Mb Award Plug & Play BIOS with unique "SmartFlash" designed. By simply
pressing [Alt] [F2] to execute the built in "Award Flash Program" , which
will upgrade to the current BIOS as they are released at
http://www.2themax.com under Drivers Page.
Extended Function:
