EasyDrive 50X CD-ROM is an internal type IDE/ATAPI interface CD-ROM
drive. The drive adopts the technology of full Constant Angular Velocity (CAV)
with data transfer rate of 3.18 MB/sec (21.2X) at the inner most tracks
and 7.2 MB/sec (50X) at the outer most tracks. The double-suspension
technology makes it able to handle even seriously unbalanced disks with
less vibration and acoustic noise. Furthermore, it utilizes the
rack-pinion type traverse mechanism in order to improve access time to
less than 80ms and also reduce acoustic seeking noise.
