The EP-61BXC-A is based on the
Intel 440BX chipset, an AGPset offering a 100MHz Bus Clock, supporting a
single Slot-1 Pentium II or Pentium III. The AGP Slot is compatible with any
AGP compliant adapter providing an immediate doubling (or quadruple) in the
maximum available 2D/3D Graphics Bandwidth without reducing performance of
other PCI cards. AGP Technology also allows Virtual Reality applications to
use as much texture buffer space as they need without expensive card or
hardware upgrades.
The on-board design of Yamaha (PCI based
chipset), a leading sound chip, creates tremendous 3D enhanced sound effects
for your system. The built-in specifications of OPL3 and MPU401 make you
compatible with the most popular FM-synthesizer and MIDI/JOYSTICK ports.
