  6.6X - 16X Speed ATAPI Internal DVD-ROM Drive
This is the fastest DVD-ROM available. The DVD-106s/116 main feature is a low- vibration mechanism making it a very silent drive. The noise reduction is -2dB less than DVD-115 & DVD-114. The DVD-106s/116 features up to 16x data transfer rate (21MB/s), average random seek time of 85ms and random access time of 95ms for DVD's. All built in half height format with Pioneers well tested slot-in mechanism enabling safe, fast and easy access to your data. Available in ATAPI version and able to read CD's as well as DVD's (except DVD-RAM) this drive represents the latest in DVD-ROM technology.
