Supporting up to four Intel Xeon processors MP and utilizing the ServerWorks Grand Champion HE chipset, this system board is ideal for on-line transaction processing (OLTP), database server, and other compute-intensive applications. The Thunder GC-HE features PCI-X bus technology for superior I/O performance, dual-channel LAN for flexible connectivity, dual-channel Ultra160 SCSI for leading-edge storage, and optional IPMI-compliant server management with fault resilience support.
