The S381-B Baby AT mainboard series is based on Intel®
810 chipset to support Intel CeleronTM CPUs. It is equipped
with the Intel® 752 based 3D Graphics and AC97 V2.0 compliant 3D
Audio to provide a cost effective solution with adequate performance.
The S381-B is based on the Baby AT form factor and
the Intel® 810 chipset, which consists of the 82810, Graphics Memory
Control Hub (GMCH) north bridge, the 82801AB, I/O Control Hub (ICH)
south bridge, and the 82802, Firmware Control Hub (FCH). S381-B supports
the new ATA 66 interface which increases the IDE hard disk performance
up to 66MB/s data transfer rate.
The S381-B supports 66/100MHz CPU FSB, even though
the Celeron CPU with 100MHz FSB has not reached that level yet. It can
support the Intel Celeron CPU up to 500MHz. An Audio Modem Riser (AMR)
slot is provided to support the inexpensive MC97 compliant Modem adapter
upgrade. Two 168-pin DIMM slots can support up to 512MB SDRAM.
It is bundled with Trend® PC-Cillin 98 Anti-virus
Software to strengthen the anti-virus ability for the entire PC system.
By using X-store Bus Master IDE driver, Hard Disk performance is
increased by up to 60% and system performance is increased by up to 10%.
