S3ZX-A(n)
The S3ZX-A(n) with 100MHz CPU FSB
support, features the Socket 370 design to support Intel Celeron®
processors up to 466MHz, and is based on the Intel®
440ZX-100 AGPset for excellent performance.

The S3ZX-A and S3ZX-An support ATX form factor and
PPGA 370 CPU up to 466MHz. Keyboard / Mouse Power on / Modem Ring-in and
Wake Up On LAN increases the versatility of power on feature. 2 x
168-pin DIMM socket supports up to 256MB SDRAM. 1 AGP, 5 PCI, 2 ISA
slots maximize I/O expandability. 2 x Ultra DMA/33 IDE ports support
33MB/sec data transfer rate. Hardware monitoring design allows users to
self-diagnose CPU temperature, CPU fan speed and voltage. SB-Link
supports Sound Blaster card for early DOS game.
They are bundled free with Trend® PC-Cillin 98 Anti-virus
Software to strengthen the anti-virus ability for whole PC system. By
using X-store Bus Master IDE driver, they increases Hard Disk
performance up to 60% and system performance up to 10%.
The S3ZX-A mainboard is designed with ESS Solo-1 PCI Sound Chip on
board to support software wavetable, 1 x MIDI/game port, 1 x Audio Jacks
(Line Out, Line In, and Mic. In) for multimedia applications. This
feature can be fully disabled if users prefer to use other sound card.
The S3ZX-An is the one without audio support. Users can select either
S3ZX-A(with sound support) or S3ZX-An(without sound support) based on
their needs. In the meantime, we also provide S3AP-A(n) VIA Apollo Pro+
based motherboard to offer users an alternative.
