upgradability and implementation of the most advanced graphics cards),

for the KM133A) , and support for PC133 as well as PC66/100 SDRAM, the
VIA ProSavage™ KM133 provides OEMs and System Assemblers with the
flexibility they need to design one motherboard that encompasses all
value, mainstream and performance market segments. With a range of FSB
speed up to 133MHz, the VIA ProSavage™ KM133 chipset allows flexibility
and performance to optimally support AMD Socket A Athlon™ and Duron™
processors.
With its advanced memory controller architecture, the VIA ProSavage™
KM133 chipset is the most scalable integrated chipset with support of up
to 1.5GB of high-speed PC133 SDRAM and VC133 DRAM. PC133 offers the
bandwidth necessary to squeeze the peak performance out of the latest
generation processors and AGP4X graphics with a minimal premium over
PC100. Support for the ATA 66 IDE standard and offers twice the
throughput over ATA 33 hard drives.
The VIA ProSavage™ KM133 chipset comeswith a wide range of additional
integrated features that help minimize the cost of building Value PCs
and Internet Appliances without sacrificing features and performance.
These include an integrated 10/100 BaseT Ethernet controller, AC-97
audio, MC-97 modem, Super I/O, hardware monitoring capabilities, flat
panel monitor support, plus support of four USB ports, and advanced
power management.
