Through its advanced V-Link memory controller architecture, the VIA Apollo KT266 chipset supports up to 4.0GB of the latest high-speed DDR200/266 SDRAM at a peak bandwidth of 2.1GB per second. Innovative & Scalable Architecture
The VIA Apollo KT266 chipset is based on an innovative and scalable architecture with proven reliability and performance. It is a two-chip set consisting of the VT8366 North Bridge Controller and the VT8233 South Bridge Controller (see the block diagram below). Additional key features include support for six USB ports, AC-97 link for audio and modem, hardware monitoring, and ACPI/OnNow power management.
