Building on the unprecedented power and reliability of the VIA Apollo KT266A, the VIA Apollo KT333 further raises the performance bar on AMD Athlon™ XP and AMD Duron™ processor based systems.

The VIA Apollo KT333 is the first VIA chipset to feature DDR333 memory offering 25% more memory bandwidth to the CPU. Supporting DDR200/266/333 memory and a complete range of 200/266MHz Front Side Bus AMD Athlon™ XP and AMD Duron™ processors, the VIA Apollo KT333 provides lightning fast access to the faster system memory enabling stunning performance across the full application range.

 

The VIA Apollo KT333 is part of the V-MAP family of chipsets, which provides pin compatibility across the full range of VIA DDR products. V-MAP, or VIA Modular Architecture Platform, allows motherboard manufacturers, OEMs, and System Integrators to serve different market segments with a single, unified platform design. This approach speeds time to market and ultimately reduces the price of V-MAP based mainboards. The VIA Apollo KT333 (model number VT8367) is completely pin-compatible the VIA Apollo KT266A (VT8366A) to ensure rapid time to market. It can be paired with a choice of VT8233/VT8233A/VT8233C South Bridges, which are connected through the chipset's high bandwidth V-Link Hub Architecture. Other key features include AGP4X, ATA-100 (ATA-133 in the VT8233A), integrated six channel advanced audio, six USB ports, LPC bus, and integrated 10/100Mbps Ethernet and Home PNA, AC-97 audio, and MC-97 modem.
