With a range of FSB speed up to 133MHz, the VIA ProSavage™ PL133 chipset allows flexibility and performance to optimally support Intel® Pentium® III, Celeron and VIA C3™ processors. With its advanced memory controller architecture it is the most scalable integrated chipset with support of up to 1.5GB of high-speed PC133 SDRAM and VC133 DRAM.

The VIA ProSavage™ PL133 chipset comes with a wide range of additional integrated features that help minimize the cost of building Value PCs and Internet Appliances without sacrificing features and performance. These include an integrated 10/100 BaseT Ethernet controller, AC-97 audio, MC-97 modem, Super I/O, hardware monitoring capabilities, flat panel monitor support, plus support of four USB ports, and advanced power management.

The VIA ProSavage™ PL133 chipset is based on an innovative and scalable architecture with proven reliability and performance. It is a two-chip set consisting of the VT8605 North Bridge Controller and the VT8231 South Bridge Controller.
