VIA ProSavage™ PN133T integrated mobile graphics chipset combines the
rich 2D/3D graphics capabilities of the proven Savage4™ graphics core
with advanced North Bridge features such as a 133MHz Front Side Bus and
133MHz SDRAM support. The SMA architecture of the ProSavage™ PN133T
eliminates the dedicated frame buffer by sharing the main system memory
with the CPU, while delivering competitive 3D performance. This saves
space on the motherboard and reduces overall system power consumption,
delivering an unrivaled combination of performance and flexibility to
mobile system developers.
With its low power characteristics and highly integrated nature, the VIA
ProSavage™ PN133T is ideally suited for the thin, light and ultra small
mobile designs, now becoming mainstream in the mobile marketplace. To
provide notebook makers with additional flexibility, the ProSavage™
PN133T is also backwards compatible with a full range of mobile Intel
Pentium® III, mobile Intel Celeron™, and VIA C3™ processors. Its support
for PC133 SDRAM ensures ample memory bandwidth for the most demanding
software and Internet applications at minimal cost.
Bringing all the accepted SMA features to the laptop market, including
extremely low power consumption, effective heat dissipation, space
saving single chip design and full ACPI compliance enables OEMs and
System Integrators to reduce the cost of building smaller, thinner
laptops without sacrificing features and performance.
