unrivaled flexibility and performance on the Socket 370 platform. With
AGP4X, support for up to 1.5GB PC133 SDRAM, and the ability to support a
choice of single or dual processor configurations, the VIA Apollo Pro133T
provides a highly scalable solution for running a wide choice of PC,
workstation, and server applications. The chipset also comes with a wide
range of integrated features, including ACR support, AC'97 audio, MC'97
modem, hardware monitoring, ATA 33/66 and 4 USB ports, to provide OEMs and
System Integrators with full flexibility in configuring systems to meet a

Innovative & Scalable Architecture
The VIA Apollo Pro133Tchipset is based on an innovative and scaleable
architecture with proven reliability and performance. It is a two-chip set
consisting of the VT82C694T North Bridge Controller and the VT82C596B South
Bridge Controller, as shown in the block diagram below. Additional key
features include support four USB ports, AC'97 link for audio and modem,
hardware monitoring, and power management. |
